Calvin and Hobbes - It wouldnt be great to break my heart

Calvin and Me

Calvin and Me

A small philosophy I figured out from calvin and Hobbes by Bill Wattersor (The Anniversary Book) when I was reading last night.

Calvin finds a dying Racoon on snow and tries to save it. He is so depressed about it being sick. He quotes in Distress

“DON’T DIE LITTLE RACCOON IT WOULDN’T BE VERY GRATEFUL OF YOU TO BREAK MY HEART”.

This is how exactly we feel, when some one we love or close to our heart, moves out of our life. But the hidden agenda is the person who leaves us never realizes or gets to know that there is someone mourning for them.

Either we mourn for lives which are already lost or people who intentionally leave. They never realize the wounds and tears they leave behind. If only they could see what damage, they have done to the lives that they leave behind. We say “Time is the healer”. But that does not mean we will never think of them again.

This page is completely dedicated to my best buddy who left us all by committing suicide at a young age of 18. He has left a huge hole in all our hearts ( close friends and family), which could never be filled again. It was completely unfair of him to break all our hearts and take such a quick decision which costed his life.

We will always “MISS You”
